Long shot hope, will the Venture show?

The spectral amorphous mass never appears to attack anything. It crawls about slowly, seeking out living things.  

Once it has found something alive, it stares at it. If its target moves away, the creature will pursue it, continually staring.  

The smaller spectres swirling around the main one attract other creatures which know when a living creature has been detected. The monsters easily trap and feed on the victim.  

Then a new mini spectre arises out of the main body, adding to the cloud of swirling silent watchers.  

The Little Devil battles a pair of Sythi Wyrms. He successfully rent one in half but it allowed the other to coil around him.  

Suddenly he hears a cry in the distance. It sounded like Stickman.  

The Wyrm bites. Blood drips over his eyes. His claws dig into the monster's flesh.

A sudden and short transmission from the Andonia Venture shows an unfamiliar crew member.  

A new face among the crew.

In the communications room of the Andonia Venture, the message sent by the engineering team is received.  

A full account of all events happening across Andonia is attached with the message along with evacuation plans currently being put into action.  

An urgent plea for the Venture to return and participate in the rescue and evacuation of people is made.  

The signal repeats again, and again, and again.

With reports of widespread deaths from monster attacks, the Andonian launch fields have been dedicated to evacuating local residents.  

Launch pods fill the skies. Destruction continues to overwhelm the lands. Nowhere is safe for Andonia.
